12 1/2, 12, 11….

It’s funny how you get used to paces.

When I started marathon training, I was at a 12+min/mile pace. And very happy about it.

I finished a marathon in December under an 11 min/mile pace. I was honestly shocked with myself.

Last month, I ran a 10 mile run at a 9:46min/mile pace. I finally learned to believe in myself and push towards a goal I felt was unattainable.

Yesterday, as a warm-up to my work out, I ran an 8:50 min/mile pace.

Next? 5K under 26 min. Here we go!
